Pulse 2 - Open Source Computer System Management for medium and large organizations


Pulse 2 helps organizations ranging from 500 to 100 000+ computers to inventory, maintain, update and take full control on their IT assets. It has been designed to handle 100 000+ computers spread on many sites.


May 13th 2009 - Pulse 2 1.2.1 available

The Pulse 2 team is proud to announce that version 1.2.1 of Pulse 2 is available for all.

An enormous work has been undertaken to improve the user experience, especially on the fluidity and ergonomics of the interface.

Other parts, however, earn some eagerly functions such as:

  • In the inventory module, the ability to split clients into logical entities and to give users access to certain entities,
  • In the MSC module, a new proxy mode (multiple) to make the deployment of packages over broadband link safer and quicker.

As usual, installation instructions and packages are available here, and updated documentation may be found here. The Pulse 2 demo image has also been updated, amongst its evaluation guide.

We are proud to announce that version 1.2.0 of Pulse 2 is available for all.

Jan. 31st 2008 - Pulse 2 at Solutions Linux 2008 in Paris

Pulse 2 has been demonstrated at Solution Linux 2008 held in Paris to deploy Firefox and Openoffice.org on both Linux and Windows platforms.
